Is it worth it to do a smog delete on my 95gt. I dont have to worry about inspections

I've removed my smog pump, capped off the EGR, run longtubes, offroad X.. So no emissions on my 95 gt either. I didn't notice any hp increase, however removing the smog pump removed a little chunk of weight. And you can put a billet delete pulley in like I did so it looks pretty cool. The smog pump, pumps air to the cats, which I'm assuming you don't have so its just dead weight really.

Remove that junk!
Looks better, save weight, not putting junk into the engine.

I removed basically all the emission junk on my car. Mostly because there was no way I was going to fabricate parts to make it work....

if you don't have inspections then yank that junk out.
You don't necessarily need to get a delete pully. A shorter belt works too.

since there isn't much price difference between a smog delete and a new belt I'd suggest going the delete route.

seems like a 91" off the top of my head.
Like ONYX said, the price of the delete pulley and a new short belt is nearly the same price.

Its definitely worth it but not for hp purposes. The weight savings and added cleanliness under the hood is without a doubt worth it.

Thanka guys. Right now I have to replace the t stat gasket. I have cleaned it to look new and yet it still leaks. I've replaced the l shape hose and the housing isn't cracked. I'm at a dead end any advice?

make sure its seated correctly ...ive seen a few of my not so smart mustang friends get it pinched between the housing and intake causing a leak. Not that its your problem but something you might have overlooked.

Very good possibility, use a dab of right stuff and seat it in the housing groove let it set up so when you go to put it against the intake it doesn't slide out.
