are eibachs sportlines too low to be going over speedbumps or down steep driveways ??? wondering if 1.5" wont be much of difference of what I got now which is what the pro kits n fords F springs are.
The Eibach Sportline springs will give you about a 2" drop all the way around. If you went slow over speedbumps or up or down driveways you should be fine but,I know quite a few people that scratched the heck out of the bottom of their cars going to low depends on where you live I guess. Most of the people I know are very happy with the 1.5" drop from the Eibach Pro Kit. I belive that 1.5" is just enough drop to loss the 4X4 stance and still have a nice drop on your mustang without scratching the bottom of your car everywhere. One of my cousins' friends had a 94 GT with Eibach Sportlines without the spring isolators and on a high speedbump ripped off one of his cats and his passenger side skirt. I think you will like the drop from the Eibach Pro Kit most people do.
That will work just fine. Do you plan on getting chrome Bullitt wheels? O0 Go with the Eibach Pro Kit.
Yup......... ;D IVe been ordering all my stuff tonight, cant wait to get everythin installed and take pics
Get some pics up too when everything arrives. For some reason I get all happy when I see some pics of mods that people got :dunno:
Thanx I know I will :dancing6: when they get here........I will make sure to take pics I know what you mean
yea when my brother first got the car , he put the prokit on and he thought it was to high and then cut an extra coil off each spring, lol then it settled. now i kill everything. anything over 1 1/2 inches off ground.
hey jus wondering, what u mean by...... " now i kill everything. anything over 1 1/2 inches off ground. "
i mean that since he cut that coil my car will hit anything that protrudes 1 1/2 inches off the ground. say for instance, a can on its side......a 2x4......a dead squirel......drive on car lifts.......speed bumps......pot holes.....random things in the road.... thats sort of stuff.
yea totaly, its a really good kit man, one good thing to do is when you do it to get some shocks/struts. Its also a good idea to get a fox body set of shocks/struts, since they have more travel for a lowered car. soooooo..... no more bottoming out.
I have sportlines with tokico blues and have never bottomed out. As long as you take it easy going over speed bumps you should not have a problem. I plan on running the sprortlines once I install my BBK L/T's as well. 8)
Scarface, that is really good to hear. I was pretty nervous about scraping. Are you running a tubular K?
no, stock K...I will say leave the isolators on, the stock ones dont make hardly any difference in drop. Mine werent making noise until recently. THey will go back in ASAP.
