So I picked up some eibach sportlines, bilstein struts and tokico shocks. Well I thought they were sportlines, put on the rear first and couldn't figure out why they looked so high still. Looked up the part number and sure enough, the germinator sold me pro kit springs and not sportlines. Besides the point, after trying to get the front springs out, they wouldn't budge. I had a spring compressor on them and they were still lodged in there even after the A arm had dropped to its lowest position. Anybody have similar problems?

haha suspension noob. Disconnect the spindle from the lower strut, the sway bar end link and the brake caliper (the rotor will then come off) drop the A arm all the way down and it it give you a hassle, use a long pry-bar to maneuver the A-arm. There is no need to use a spring compressor on the fronts.
I've done it so many times I can change all the springs in about 45 minutes.

nice man lets see some more pics!!! and u think getting ur front springs out were hard??? dude it took me and my friend hours just to get the front two out...my fu***** control arm wouldnt even drop once we took the nut off of the wheel bareing...we had to get a ball joint splitter cause they were rusted so bad together but we finally got it...

looks good man! Yeah once you take it apart once, the 2nd time is much faster. I took all my springs out about a month ago and pulled al the isos and put it all back together in about 2 hours. 1st time doing it by myself, and 2nd time ever doing suspension work. these things im finding are very easy to work on. now when we get to talking working on motors, i am in trouble haha. gotta get me another motor and start learning on it!

Yeah man spring compressor is no necessary for our cars, i have changed springs about 4 times and it take less time everytime, i can do all 4 in about 30 mins lol
