Still wondering what to do with my transmission. Not sure what it is in the tranny, perhaps the synchro rings? My car whines like it's supercharged and makes that really annoying "gyee" sound when shifting if the RPM's aren't let down. I'm starting to wonder if I should try and rebuild it before it blows up.

It's not the TOB or anything like that..

1)Anyone know of a reputable place to get a T-45 rebuild kit from?? Not overly happy as this car only has 59,000 miles on it.

2)Overly difficult to rebuild? Just took off heads and everything off my brothers nissan, but I've always been a bit afraid of tranny's.

I got my rebuild kit from Hanlon Motorsports, I am very happy with it however if you are attempting to do it yourself I would recommend picking one out of the junkyard with some sort of warranty ofcourse and just bolting it in to ease the hassle and not deal with the possibility of having to redo it over again because you installed the kit improperly. A transmission seems too technical for a backyard do it yourself job, and some junkyards offer up to 1-3 months warranty.
