Can I buy that off you Steven? I get a lot of lighting up this way and I want to go to 1955 to date my mom.

Ford's strange way of doing a dual tune. Would have been easier to just have a switch chip but then they couldn't charge you $200 to replace your lost key.

But then how would you control who gets to use the "track mode" and who doesn't? I like the idea of having a seperate key for it.

not trying to brag, but I got a ride in the new boss 302 down at VIR this past sunday. The driver (Ford Employee, same guy that drove the Ford GT mule) had this "prototype mustang" that he was blasting around the track in giving rides. He wasn't aloud to tell us what it was, but it wasn't hard to see that it was the new boss. I got to say that it is a fucking monster on the track. Comparable to the GT500 with full eibach race suspension. I'll try to dig up some pictures when I get home

you want the valet to be able to flip that switch. I see something similar to ferris buelers day off happening if that were the case.

Yes, Really.

I think when you have a car designed to be a High Performance machine and a track car that there should be NO sport button or track keys..... I feel the car should just be one setting. Sport buttons and such are just gimmicks for people to think they are having for fun.

The 95R didn't have "sport" mode or a track switch, it was just a badass street car that was really a racecar. I agree with Handz on this one, there's a GT 5.0L for people who want fun, and then there should be the Boss 302 for people that want a track car they can drive on the street.

I can see the use of driving it to the track, on the track, and then back home while having it optimized for each one at that time. I like the idea of not needing a trailer/truck and also not getting 12 mpg to the track and back.
