I may have the opportunity to be buying a trickflow track heat intake as well as a 306 shortblock....idk what heads to get yet but wanted to ask you guys what heads would be good on the 306 and then if the trickflow intake would work well with it....here's a link to the motor i may be getting[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif].

yeah I was hoping to find someone that has some heads for sale if i buy this motor because if I can get all of this stuff for cheap I'll pretty much have the motor good to go. what trickflow heads would be best? or would you guys recommend afr 185's? i heard those make good power on a 306.

World, and more so Dart heads dont really like being on 302s. 351-408 CI is what they like. Big chambers and big ports.

And I would be suspicious of anyone selling a shortblock like that. He went thru a lot of trouble to "put it back to stock" for just that reason. I would suspect a shelled rod bearing or something. And its really hard to tell what cam is in it without it being removed.

Just my 2 cents.
