MMR i think is a good resource for those. on the WAP blocks they screw in also. luckily mine were still intact and new condition. looks like your cams notched the pistons for you? do you plan to use the stock mark 8 pistons or forged? i didnt see in the final pictures.

Cars awesome but please paint the spoiler makes it look like u got it out the box and slapped it on and really doesn't flow well with the rest of your car. Would look amazing painted though.

Wow everytime i see a 4.6 without all the stuff on it and just sitting outside the bay it makes my tiny 302 look so small and its funny cuz the small 302 is actually a bit bigger in cubes :D

Mechanically the modular is more efficient in fuel, oil and durability. Stock for stock they are equal in power. Just 302s are a dime a dozen.

Update : Car runs awesome.. here is the current list im coming up with

1. figure out why it gets hot at idle sometimes.. i think the tube i used from the water pump is getting smashed by the intake mainfold threw the valley.. hope not but i think so..
2. i want to redo all my gauges in the inside.. the sun burned all the leds on them literally.. kinda sucks, i had the glowshift blue led ones and they were awesome.
3. new front tires.. since i have my camber plates on and my tires sit straight again i can finally get new rubber,
4. narrow the miss down, sometimes it does and sometimes it doesnt, im convinced this car has a mind of its own.. in other words i need to get a tune for it which will happen soon i hope.

finished my front suspension, with a new rack and pinion, x2 ball joints, and bumpsteer, the car steers like brand new i love it..
also installed the basanni kit, as i stated in a previous thread, i just need a good camera to get the sound, i dont have one at my disposal.
car also has a baby tick by the passenger side on the timing cover.. i hope its nothing serious, because the car still runs perfect and it doesnt seem to be affecting anything.

very nice. im sure the misfire is in the tune.

Yeah, i went outside the other day and popped off a few coils with it running to see if any of them were bad, and they seemed ok, also pulled a plug, it was red.. i need to get some fuel in this badboy,

im shooting for a tune by christmas. im driving the car real easy so i dont melt a piston or anything beforehand

also i need a new air intake, the 2 little gromments that hold the pcvs in place arnt getting a good seal and i feel its getting unmetered air threw the intake and missing there. ive tried to fix it a few times but i cant seem to get a good seal.. i just want a jlt. get rid of that metal piece of shit that has been in there for years..

still trying to find a valve cover also.

other then that its a trooper so far, got about 5-600 miles on the build i'll be doing the first oil change next week hopefully.

just read over this for the first time. As a former security/audio installer I would have to say that I would never advertise what alarm I have in my car, let alone the full model number as listed in the first post. Giving someone that knowledge means that myself, every other installer that has done DEI(and they do three different brands with the same color wires so they can sell to everyone) and alot of theives now know the wire code to your alarm. As easy as it is to open our doors with a coat hanger, and having being giving that knowledge would mean that if I wanted too I bet I could get in your car and around your alarm in less then ten seconds. I have never stolen a car, stereo or used my knowledge for stuff like that but there are plenty of other people that know the same as me and do use the knowledge for bad uses. Don't even put the viper sticker on the window, the led is all they need to see.........

N/a i dont use a pcv valve. i have one of the cheap grant breathers on the passenger side and hose to intake on the drivers side. i dont recommend this. i have to make adjustments but i been running it this way without crazy issues. i havent drove mine in 2 months. i dont miss it but its getting what i want done.
