First off before anyone actually reads anything about my car i just want to say that i have been really busy lately and i really miss this forum and my sn95 Family a alot

Now i know this isnt the beginning of my car at all, and i also regret not logging and photographing most of the work so far, but as it sits right now it is having a heart transplant, as many of you remember i purchased a 97 teksid stock assembled for 300$

I dont want to build anything serious right now, i havent had the car up in 8 months and its seriously killing me.. i want to just get it back on the road and enjoy it. goal is 300Wheel N/A which i can do. The main plan is just to use the teksid assembly with the stock rods/pistons with my existing pi top/comp cams.. Dyno session is already booked as soon as i get the car back on the road it goes straight to the dyno.. i want to have the car top notch tuned because i think that has alot to do with why it finally let go..

I have a full assortment of boxes/parts that i will be installing on the car whenever it comes back from my buddy, should be in about two weeks.. starting off i want to talk about these seats i just picked up..

I picked these seats up out of a Totalled Steeda Q400 C from what i was told.. it was a convertable ive never seen before.. and these seats are completely one of a kind.. they look like 03/04 cobras without the suede in the middle which was honestly what i was looking to do.. except with a 05+ gt headrest.. extremely cool and rare.. i took a second picture tried to get the logo on the back so you guys could see it, but it reads ford racing innovations with a 1960s GT emblem underneath it really cool/interesting if you ask me..

Next up, i have the following laying in boxes that will go on immediately with the cars return

Electronic Cutouts (And YES i will make camming cutout Videos)
Basanni catback
Black kickpanels/door sill trim
Cop conversion
Steeda X2s
Steeda Bumpsteer kit
New infinity components thanks to joekd <-- :eek:ccasion14:
Black Carpet <-- Thanks Javi!!
Also have a 3 1/2" cowl hood in paint that will go on soon :la: :la: :la: :la: :la: :la:

im probably forgetting a bunch of stuff right now but you guys get the idea..

Most current pictures i have..

Re: Triggers Build Thread. Update 5/29.

i'll say it over here, its not a big deal to hide

..basically what happened was i was suposto sponsor that motor for the dfw area, it was going to be one of the first mmr 5.8ls in texas and they basically backed out at the last moment, and they were going to mate it with a on3 kit too at the time, i figure things like that are too good to be true anyways, besides i feel more comfortable doing things myself then having them handed to me which is why im going to continue things on my own with blue here

since then ive acquired alot more things for my car. i went ahead and finished off my drivetrain with a hanlon geared t-45 with a dual friction centerforce clutch, that i got about 40 miles break in on until something happened in the bottom end recently, im believing it was a bearing or wrist pin perhaps? so i got a really good deal on that teksid block you saw tonight, 400$ still assembled, its out of a mach so i'll just toss my pi top end/cams/intake on there and rock a badass n/a car until i get my new job. then i plan to fully forge it and fab up a turbo kit on my own. i would just feel better if i could do 100% of the work.

i've also added black carpet finally (thanks javi!) and that finished my two tone interior project

i'll have pics up soon after i install my new shortblock and get blue back on the road.

thats a bum deal. i too worked for the little things i own. i see time and time again people get things given to them and they neglect it. not your case.. to me its a good warm and fuzzy knowing this is what i paid for and what i built. then you know youre own vehicle and where you stand sentimentally. keep working hard on it man. if you need anything let me know.

Thanks alot brother, it really pisses me off to see other people my age that are handed everything. i used to see that crap threw high school, and even now a days. its such a better feeling knowing you payed for everything yourself, and installed it.

after this teksid slides in i want to work on my exhaust next, my girlfriend got me qtp E cutouts for christmas and im working with onyx to get his basanni mufflers, right now having flowmaster dumps its a awesome sound with the cams im running dont get me wrong, but i want someting different, so im going to fab up a catback with the basanni mufflers and then weld the cutouts on,

and im still debating on whather to paint my 281 wing i have on there or leave it black..

And Heres How It Sits After The Day
DSC_0214.jpg

And Heres where im at.. I didnt know that you have to buy the Dowel Pins That the tensioner arms sit on.. For people that dont know, the iron blocks have the pins punched in, and the teksids dont.. my teksid motor had threads for them where as the iron block they were just punched in.. this is a huge pain because it took me forever to find the part # for the pins after arguing with ford for most of the day.. so im stuck until i can get those ordered.. then its all down hill from there.. shooting for 2 more weeks or so until initial fireup!!
