don't forget that you have to buy the fuel upgrades too... like 42 lbs injectors , lightning maf, pump and such... and then buy the tuner and then pay for a dyno tune... if i went to get a tune around here right now without the tuner they would do it for like 700 bucks...

So i look at it this way... 2400+700=3100 dollars... then ~ 300 for injectors, ~200 for maf "don't have a clue what they go for", and ~200 for focus pump... so 3100+700=3800... so i'm coming out about the same... if i can get them for that...

What I got for 3k
v2sq tuner kit w/ stock pulley
3.12 pulley (12#)
Maf-ia (which I didn't use)
255 pump
60# injectors

I bought a FMIC, 11lbs, just re-tuned it and made 410rwhp, a/f 11.5-12, basic bolt ons w99pi --- fyi

everything together was 4000 tuned twice gas included

so sxynerd... did you use your stock MAF? and just tuned around it? I'm curious i didn't see mention of a tuner? was that part of the 3k? I keep seeing the "maf-ia" what the hell is that? i don't get it at all.

So the FMIC lowered your boost from 12 to 11? what was it making before the front mount?

i didn't think vortechs had FMICs.... they are actually designed without them... they have AFTERCOOLERS but... other than that... idk

NO I bought a FMIC off ebay + piping. My tuner uses SCT. Thats how it got up to 4k from 3. Kurgan is about the cheapest you'll get. Just remember you'll only be saving a few hundo anyway you go.

I think I might just get the MPH Mongoose Kit and just go from there. Comes with everything I will need + a tune/tuner so I can drive it from there. Then I can get it dyno tuned but until then I can still drive it.
Then later I will pick up a set of MPH Blower Cams, but that's REALLY later down the road.

I mean I just priced it all out.
MPH Mongoose kit + MM Starter Kit + MM Subframes + JMod shift kit + 3.73 gears and it came out to $5330.73
I could take out a $5500 loan and get it all. Might get a $6,000 just to be safe with shipping costs and all that stuff. Plus then I might get a set of 03 Cobras 9' all the way around sitting on Nitto 555s and Nitto 555DRs in the back for 500 from a friend.

so what would the monthly payment be for that? I might look into that since I got a full time job now... so i would be looking at like 4000k for the kit, and ~ 1000 for a rebuild... or something... wonder if the mph tune will work well with the pi head swap? hmmm i don't know..

Best bet is to call them and talk to them and tell them what you have done to your stuff already and maybe they will sent you a certain tune? Not really sure but I know I'm going to call them before I get mine and just talk to them.

I don't know how much the monthly will be yet. I am going to the bank on tuesday so. I will figure it out...

shit, i might end up just saving the money anyway... i got about a list of fixes that the car needs... it needs a new top in a bad way so i'm gonna go with the 03/04 cobra cloth top on it... and needs some other things as well...

Mines all fixed up and ready to go.
So Tuesday *tomorrow* i'm going up to my bank and seeing how much it would cost monthly to get a loan by myself or with a co-signer.
