Q: How do I get my Ford SVT Certificate of Authenticity for my Cobra?

Answer: Please call 1-800-FORD-SVT and submit your VIN number. Your certificate should take about two to three weeks to be mailed to you.

The plates are factory. I'm sure SVT could tell you the names and I think its like $40 or something like that to get your SVT certificate and I'm sure it would have the names of the builders on it

day after driving it home from sc after buying it, it spun a rod bearing and threw a rod. Chewing up my crank and messing up my teskid block. So I got an '01 motor put in it with my heads from the old motor and went ahead and got some headers thrown on.

DogBone... It was originally intended to help with vibration.

yea...I think I'll leave mine too. Its not hurting anything as far as I can tell. lol

depends on how much you care about your car weighing alot... i dont care bout my fat bleeotch weight 2 metric tons, so i left mine. i figure ford put it there for a reason... and if the only benifit is less weight, ill leave it... thats why i have a back seat, a spare tire, and a V8 too. lol.
