Thank you, Snorky. They are, in fact, very comfortable. But when compared to the rest of the car, they stand out like a sore thumb. In about 6 hours we will know more!
The rear seat is pristine! The tint guy is the only person who has been in the back seat. His wife begged him to buy the car.

I really like them. I've got Ivory leather in the X-Type, but it's not as sharp as that - almost creamy in comparison...

Yes, our seats definitely have a cream tint. So many people who have seen the seats and interior say the same thing.

Finally mad first lap around the block...So far so good. Have to get timing set correct instead of by ear, adjust suspension so it doesn't drag, (damn that lower support) and ride so rough. No leaks or check engine lights so far. We shall see after the next drive cycle.
Curious as to what springs you're running as well. That's the amount of drop I want for mine.

New front brake hoses, just rubber. Would have preferred SS but found the rubber hoses from Sweden, SS would have to order from USA.
The ignition/starter switch has been hard to turn so opened the steering scroud and sprayed some WD40 to the plastic sliding actuator arm. 21 year old grease there was dry and hard!
Just to finish my dragging brake issue if someone finds this. After changing calibers and hoses, flushing fluid and all other stuff they still dragged a bit. Pushed the pistons out almost all way, smeared some brake grease on them, pushed them in-out a couple of times and put everything back together. They still dragged bit too much. Out of ideas i just drove the car a couple of times shorter trips and they just settled in and stopped dragging. Who knows, maybe they been at Rock auto warehouse so long the pistons were binding a bit or what kind of grease was used when they were remanufactured.

That’s such a common problem with these cars. Almost every new edge I’ve owned had sticking calipers at one point or another. It’s usually the passenger front one that locks up.

Sorry, I meant mine - yours are much sharper and more what I would call an ivory colour.

Well, we had to postpone the revival of the seats. One of the workers couldn't work yesterday and we agreed to do it Saturday morning! Ready for this to happen!

Drove it to work for an hour each way. Man it drives really good the way it is. Smooth and comfortable. Just need new seats. I’m thinking about gearing it but not sure. I really like the way it drives right now. D4F69C91-398B-40EB-BA7A-AF99307B54B7.jpeg

I don't believe this ...

I'm supposed to be taking her to a show tomorrow. Will be down Halfords later seeing what they've got. New tail piece and mount minimum but the mount with a hanging bit could be the tricky part. Seen them on eBay but not easily available today...

Will advise what happens!

Got a new end piece but can't get a hanging mount until it arrives Tuesday. Have botched something for now until the full job is done once the mount arrives.

I've had these termi wheels in the garage for like 8 months. Just painted the 2 fronts to match the back ones. First experience with an HVLP went super well. Learned a lot
