So my car is has an annoying squeak on the drivers side front which i was told was the rubber bushing being squeaky. I Spayed them with white lithium grease and it seemed to help. But while i had the wheel off i noticed that the rotor was a little loose. So i took off the cap so i could get to that big bolt to tighten it up. I didn't have the correct socket size with me though so i just yanked on it a little with some chanalocks (sp?) But it didnt budge. I looked in my repair manual and I think it said something about it being a one time use bolt. Im guessing it is a stretch bolt or something. So i am going to pick up some new bolts for the front. I think it would help with the squeaking since it also squeaks when I turn the wheel sometimes.
Well while im doing that i think i am going to replace the front wheel bearings. Is there any tricks to doing those, or is it just basically just pull off the old ones, and pack the new ones with grease and tap it in?
