Have you modified your car so much youve forgotten that even a CAI can cause a lean condition in EEC-4 cars? Have you forgotten how finicky the 94/95 cars are especially?? Come on man, tuning ANY vehicle even BONE STOCK 5.0s can net better throttle response thru added timing and get better gas mileage thru optimizing the AF ratio. Just because you have a bolt-on car doesn't mean it makes no sense to tune it. It absolutely SUCKS we have to retune them everytime we add induction mods but hey, it's part of the game. My $0.02...

It doesn't make sense to tune the car now just to add more stuff and tune it again, especially when it sounds like the other mods are going to be int he near future.

It doesnt makes sense if you have to pay for it, but the OP already stated all his reburns are free. So whats the difference how many times he has it retuned, it isnt costing him a dime.

OP dont bother installing an intake untill you have the heads ... That doesnt mean if you find a deal on one to pass it up. Grab it and stock pile it.

If it were me , id go with eather trickflows or AFR heads... That's what Ive always had good luck with atleast. If you going down the path of heads especially if you go with one of those 2. I myself would do eather a trickflow track heat , Edelbrock performer RPM , or my personal fav Holley Systemax. You will find the outher 2 used , Ive hardly ever seen a used systemax. The ones i have seen tho are normally still a pretty penny and for good reason , there awesome intakes.
If you want something diffrent just to set you appart a bit you could always try to source a Saleen intake.

I see, in that case it sounds like a reflash with no dyno time and I can't see that making a big difference anyways. If they do put it on the dyno and retune the car for free whenever he wants then he got a hell of a deal and he might as well go nuts.

well the reason i got it tuned is to change timing and my car was running lean as hell cause i hadnt done any fuel mods yet. local mustang dyno shop only charges 100 for re-tune including dyno time so when i DO get h/c/i i can easily go get it retuned. and its a slow process build. only got part time job and still in high school so i aint got the time or money to do everything at once.

Well if the rest of the engine is stock putting an intake on isn't going to make much of a difference, like I said before I'd just wait and save the time/money for the whole deal.
