Yeah, i agree, who has time to list every single mod that they have to get their horsepower level..

Dyno sheets would be sweet for the next time you make a pull.

I have 400 at the crank with my DD 4.6 N/A :tongue3: I've got 70,000 miles on it right now and I street race almost every Thursday against evo's, camaro's and turbo imports. :headbang:

Post that ****..Im very interested too....cause 400@ the crank would end up being somewhere in the neighborhood of 340 RWHP.

That would mean you have like a stroker with stg 3 heads and st 3 cams and like 13.1 compression.

I'll post the complete list asap, but first I wanted to say:
1. I have an auto tranny, so I 've got around 20-23% loss in the drivetrain
2. HP numbers are gained by the right combo for ur car, and not high priced aftermarket parts like some people would like to think (don't want to offend no one)

With my combo, I'm hitting the 318-322rwhp mark. I can't remember exactly because I lost the dyno sheet, but I'll be hitting the dyno again pretty soon. If you add the 20-23% loss, I'm over the 400hp at the crank. And this is with a stock block, nothing forged or stroked. So I will be looking at 350rwhp+ when I stroke it.

Here are the mayor mods that stand out:
St.2 P&P Pi heads with a 15mm shaved from the bottom for higher compression
St.3 comp cams
P&P Typhoon IM
240 weight reduction
One hell of a tune (used predator)

I call Shenanigans, I want to see your Dyno sheet. An auto has at most 20% DTL. Predator hand helds suck and there's no way you tuned an N/A car that well with one. 340rwhp would be the best heads on the market, great long tubes, (Not Comp stage anything cams) there profiles are generic and add more sound than anything past the 272's unless you can rev that ***** to 7k. And with that large of a Cam and an auto you'd need a Stall or you wouldn't be able to drive it without getting pissed off at it every time you stopped. Plus every other bolt on you can buy.

Stroking only really adds Tq to our cars it already has a long stroke.

Dude:
1. I never posted the entire list of my mods. To do that it would take some time for every detail to be in there.
2. The 4RW70 Auto tranny in our cars have a minimum of 19% DTL, some even go up to 23%
3. I never said I had 340rwhp, I have around 318-321rwhp. And this was all based on if its possible for a N/A car to hit the 400hp at the crank.
4. I used the predator as a base, because the tuning was custom made with a laptop while we were testing on the streets, and working with the A/F ratio every step of the way.
5. No car ever responds the same to mods. I've got a friend with ALL MOST the same set up as mine, almost down to the same exact things, and he made 286rwhp.

And finally, I don't need to BS you or any other co-member around here cause in the end I would only be BS-ing myself. I would be proud of my car even if it made me 275rwhp, but it pulled 318-321. So lucky me, and trust me, when I get a chance I'll hit the dyno again and post up the results. But again, I don't have to lie about my rwhp

PS: Check out MM&FF, they had a project 96GT which they did various upgrades and showed their process every step of the way. And one of them was a stroking kit w/aluminum block, and it added them around 29rwhp w/41tq

So that last part right there....

are you saying your stroked too?


Those numbers would make sense if you were stroked...by a 4.6 displacement would struggle to get there.

my friend have a 2002 puttin 485 rwhp with stock bottom end stock cam and stock heads with a vortech

400 crank is easy from an n/a 4.6.
just not gonna happen with 2v heads. ;)
