I get it! Rear drive cars are desirable. Now that im submerged into the classic volvo world with my sons car, ive realized the market desire for these cars.....rear drive, 4 cylinder classic, easy to work on. I plan on hanging onto the cobra. I really dont find letting it go worthwhile. Even tho im not fond of it
its not that it is rear wheel drive
it is becoming a classic faster than people have thought
i get asked at least 6 times a day is it for sell people find out i deal a lot with them
then ask if i can find one cheap
i tell them straight you should have been looking day 1 for one
and now these fools are drooling them

Round these parts, these cars have dropped in value. A couple years ago you couldn’t get a nice new edge for under 6k. Now there are a bunch on marketplace that are nice but have been sitting for months. I’m thinking about jumping on another one. Im undecided on color though.
Get a fun color!!

Not too many fun colors around these here parts. I was looking at a few black ones but they’re kind of far. Theres a white one and a couple silver ones not too far that are in my price range too but getting one home is another story. There’s a gray one close by but the clear is failing and it has some passenger front fender damage.

I’m picky when it comes to color. I like white, black and gray. And I want an 01-04 gt. 01 is a toss up too because it could have a t45 or a tr3650, which I’d prefer. I’ll find one I like sooner or later.

Well at least the colors you like are easy to come by, white new edges are pretty sharp. The paint pops and they're slightly easier to keep clean than black

I had a white 02 gt for a while but I spun out in the rain and nailed a curb. Insurance totalled it. I’d like another one but white isn’t easy to find. There’s one I’ve been eyeing but it’s about 3 hours away. I can’t haul it back and I don’t trust someone to put it on a truck. If I can get someone this weekend I’ll probably go pick it up. We’ll see. I miss having a new edge.

I have a soft spot for New Edges, my first was a '99GT. I'd like to get back in one at some point, but finding one worth having is getting tough. Most of them around here have been ridden hard, and put up wet.
