The interior in my cars junk except for the seats, extremely faded, cracked and multi colored lol. Found a deal on complete 99 gt tan leather interior, every piece i need for a good price. Really only thing im worried about is the dash into my car. I want to keep the 94-98 style bezel with the two spots since I have a gauge plate in the lower one. Think i'll be able to use it? Anyone with some experience here would be greatly appreciated, going to look at it all tommorow.

I'm not sure, but I think it is a different tan that is what they used in 94-98. A lot lighter. I'm thinking it would look OK, but you'd have a swap everything out. Door panels & stuff, too. I'm not 100% sure, but about 97.

Plus one to Eli. The tan in my 02 is quite a bit lighter than the stuff in the 94-98s.

Give me a second, Steven and I'll run out to my cars and see if I can swap the bezel from my 02 into my 97 and see if it fits right. You are talking about the trim piece around the radio and the AC vents, correct?

Edit: After removing the trim around the shifter and the radio on both cars, it's my belief that any of that is interchangable. Although, if you plan on using the 99's trim that's around the radio, you'll have to cut or modify two metal brackets that hold the same piece in the 94-98s.

interesting. I'd be using every single piece from the 99 of course, even if its lighter thats no big deal. It would atleast match and be nice lol. Thanks for the help folks. I just mainly wanted to know if i could use the trim
