People say "I" cant do it because they want me to get a different car. It is mostly friends and people that know very little about cars. I was supposed to buy an 03/04 cobra this past spring/summer and everyone says i would have been better off with that. But honestly i would rather spend the money on something that is solely mine, and came from my head. Not something stock and souped up. Although v6 to v8 swap has been done, it isnt something very very common, not to mention highly unexpected when you see the car. The garage that is fixing my damage from hitting the deer is willing to help me out with what i need.

saleen ran a supercharged 351 in the 99-04 years, so i think it could be legit... plus, your local inspection station guy probably wont know the difference... and if he does, hell just say cool, pass. lol
The last year Saleen made a 351 was 99 and it made 495hp.. Pretty awesome.

Also doing a V6 to V8 swap, you pretty much need a donor car. The V6 will need the entire driveline including the Trans and rear end. You will also need the fuel setup and computer/harness from the V8. Good luck.

I guess my plan is more of a complete build then just a swap becasue the way i look at it is go big or go home. I am going to spend the extra cash now on getting the beefier parts instead of just something to get me by until it breaks. In other words, the right way. lol. I know alot of people will just get parts that they think will work, and they do for a while but in the end have to upgrade anyways.

Seriously guy, if you have this much money, your better off starting with something besides a mid 90s mustang... There are far better cars out there to do this sort of work to.

Sn95s are over weight pigs... I hate to say it but a fox is probably the ideal car for this sort of swap, you can swap in the 351 within a day, and be driving it the next... People do it all the time to fox bodies, there are thousands of write ups and more parts and aftermarket support then probably any other gen mustang...

Oh i know foxes are way easier to do stuff to. I know Sn95 got screwed out of alot. As stupid and ignorant as some of what i say may sound, i promise i am not some guy just trolling. I have wanted this for this car as long as i have had it. I have been researching and pricing and everything. Sure maybe there are more practical ways of going about this, but this is something somewhat different that isnt done everyday.

I love the sn95 look out of most anything. Why? i dont know. Just do. My car, as with most people, on here is my baby. Even if it is just a v6 right now. It is to the point where when i was going through the whole insurance thing after hitting a deer and they wanted to total it, if i couldnt get it fix i was going to sell the car off peice by peice. Only for the reason i was in the whole mode of if i cant have my baby, no one else can have her in one peice.

Sorry for all thing, just the way i feel about this car/set up/goal.
