What's up guys? I recently put UMI Performance lower control arms on my car, and can't get the swaybar to fit at all. I got it on once and let the car down, and the bar was just a few inches off the ground, so I flipped it upside down and went to put it on, and the bar actually hits the spring perches on the control arms. I've called UMI a few times and they can't seem to help. Has anyone else had this problem? The bar is factory and the cars a 97.

Thanks

When I got the bar to fit, it was too low to even drive the car, like just a few inches off the ground. So when I flipped it around and went to re-install it, its impossible to do, the bar is hitting the spring perch on the control arm, which is my problem.

Ever think of just redrilling the holes so it puts the bar in the correct orientation? Kind of a pain in the rear, but at least it would fit correctly.

When I did my LCA you have to be sure to put the bar back in correctly. Once the bar is off there are the mounting brackets that it mounts too. The ends of the bar have to be either on the inside of those brackets or the outside of it. I cant remember which way it is but be sure you installed in correctly. If you put it back on the same way it came off it shouldn't be higher or lower then it was before
