Well, I'm basically finishing up my 2 year build within the next week here. My quest was for 600rwhp, but at this point I really dont care about the numbers, I just want it to run good with no leaks/problems lol. Here is my setup, is there anything you guys would have done differently, or maybe even for me to consider in the future for this build?:

97 GT block .20 over
Manley 18cc pistons
Manley h beam rods
Cobra crank
All arp hardware
PI heads w/ MMR stage 3 port/polish job (timeserts inserted)
Crower high lift valvesprings w/ VT stage 2 blower cams
Edelbrock Victor Jr EFI manifold (port matched to heads)
Vortech SQ SI blower w/ 2.95 blower pulley
Paxton FMIC
Vortech maxflow bypass valve
AIS stage 2 trunk mount meth kit (progressive controller, tri nozzle setup, one pre blower, 2 pre t/b)
4" power pipe
Complete 8 rib conversion
IW 10% od crank pulley
Accufab 75mm t/b
6061 sheet metal race plenum
Full slp exhaust (longtubes,xpipe,catback)

Fuel:
GP 1000hp fuel system (sumped tank, dual walbro, yblock, inline fuel filter, fpr)
Edelbrock fuel rails
SD 60# inj's
Cobra HO oil pump

Tranny:
build AODE w/ BC Auto 3500 stall
custom valvebody
4.10 gears

Just wanted to see anything you guys would have done differently, still would do differently. Again, car should be running by next week after 2 years of doing this!!

Ya, I hear ya... I road race/auto X my car, so an AOD is not an option. One place I had problems with my last build was heat... I see you have the meth injection, how about the cooling system?

Oh, and more pics of that sheetmetal intake....

If its gonna be running next week, what would it matter.
As long as it runs good and you are pleased with the results.

My .02

yeah if your auto x manual is def the way to stay
cooling i decided to stay with stock radiator (just had mine flushed, I havent read any great reviews on any specific radiator for our cars), just bought a new stock water pump
If I have cooling problems (which I really dont think I will), than I'll look into upgrading

More pics of the plenum for ya:

Sick man, that under hood shot looks really good....

So, on the cooling issue, I never really overheated on the street, it was more track duty that got it, and I think an oil cooler helped that a bunch.

thanks a lot, I didnt list but I actually got a huge Truecool oil cooler so hopefully that does its job

I personally like the one piece, but if these ever get pitted may switch to 2 piece, I just have never seen a 2 piece line up the way I would want it to which is why I use the 1 piece

Oh ya, you should be fine. Truecool, is that one that uses engine coolant? water/oil? Love the red color of the car too, btw.

I run the 94-95 Cobra stock oil cooler, and it made a HUGE difference. car warms up quicker, and stays the perfect temp. you will be happy with it, im sure.

and your welcome....

Ive heard alot of problems with the COP systems too.... Im gonna be running EDIS from a 96GT on my Boss 310 pushrod build, and decided to stay with stock coils for now, off a 96 Cobra.

man thats gorgeous under the hood.

I would run a better radiator, separate trans and an oil coolers. Maybe even a different fan setup or add a pusher. Atleast the individual oil and trans coolers. It will make a big difference with those two being cooled separately. I like the SVT coolers.

Otherwise I think you have done an awesome job so far. 4:10's and that AODE will come out of the hole pretty hard. If the AODE ever goes, then get a 4R70W.
