Arp main bolts

So I have two questions here:

1) do I have to align hone the mains caps if I install the arp bolts or just studs?

2) there is no stud for the oil pick up tube to mount to, what are my options to fix this?

The answer to question 1 is yes. If you change your fasteners, be it bolts or studs, an align hone should be performed to because the way the fasteners apply their clamping force will be different.

Not sure about #2 - I've always used studs, and I remember there being a pickup mount, but I'm old and senile so maybe I'm hallucinating.

agree with paul about #1. #2, also been years since i put mine together but i believe I used bolts not studs.
