Audio/video help needed

I got a sweet gift for Father's Day. Anyways I installed it myself with horrible instructions and mostly everything works as it should but my factory amp from the Mach 460 system I'm guessing isn't turning on. I have no bass and the sound quality sucks. Any ideas this is a kenwood DVD player with metra harness from crutchfield

did you connect the blue amp turn on/remote turn on from the deck to the amp turn on in the harness?

Taking it all out now

It was the P.CONT wire. I had to hook it up to the amp harness and the other little piece they sent to prevent the amp from popping when it turned on.
