I have seen the line lock kits and have a good idea of what they do, but how do they work? I assume you flip a switch and then when you push the pedal only the front brakes respond? Never actually used one so I am curious and have considered one.
Basically. It's like a valve, it only allows brake pressure to the front wheels, and let's the rear wheels spin freely.
i never had it but i thought you would press the gas flip the switch and it would lock the front tires. i could be wrong that was just my understanding i could be wrong.
Probably. All I know is that a line lock system cuts the rear brakes off and applies all force to the front tires, which would lock the front tires still
Kinda but opposite. Has nothing to do with the rear brakes.. Flip switch, depress brake pedal, locks front brakes until switch is off.
Don't need line lock anyway. Just gotta be quick with your feet on the clutch and brake, run through the gears.
