Finally got my cage in and sorted out. I'm going to make some custom aluminum panels for the RSD and 1/4 panels as the stock plastic is just too thick to fit.

Started off with a flat black MM 4-Point Roll Bar

Sent it to ElectroTech Powder Coating to get PC'd to match my paint.

And Finally welded in place. Couldn't do a solid bead weld due to it wanting to burn through, but still will hold up just as strong.

Thanks and nice! I got the cage for a steal, total of $150 + another $150 for the powder coat. My goal is to use the 4 point as my base for a full cage with door bars, etc.

oh well I can go take a picture of that too if you like. I thought that was a secret though....... haha

It's somewhere in between right now. As of this moment it's working as DD service, but, as soon as the 13.5:1 Teksid goes in, it's being relieved of DD duty and I'm buying a 98 GT.

Nice man. Yea I donut I'll add anything to mine being that it's a street car and I'll never build it fast enough to need a 10 point cage.

for NASA time trials, the cage I have is sufficient BUT, that being said I'd like to have a little bit of reassurance and by adding the NASCAR style door bars I'll have just that.

ocoee is about 30 miles from me lol. The gas station is about a mile. I dont even know where turkey lake service plaza is. Probably off the interstate, which means their price is about 30 cent higher than anywhere else. We had a service plaza gas station that averaged a dollar over price on gas haha.

Okahumpka was its name.

Roush's selling pitch for those cars was "Roush: Somewhere between a race car and a road car".

Roush Racing Website said:
Bridging the gap between road and track, ROUSH Performance is in a unique position to seamlessly blend Roush's legendary racing successes with the formidable OEM engineering and manufacturing skills of ROUSH Industries.......ROUSH Performance is the first specialty-vehicle company to combine race-proven technologies with advanced automotive engineering. The result, a unique mix of street car and race car...Is a ROUSH car. Or more specifically, a ROUSH Mustang.

LOL, yup my brochure and window sticker that came with the car say:

"Somewhere between a Race car....
and a Road Car....
Is a ROUSH Car."

personally they could have came up with something a little less corny but oh well LOL
