very much so a compliment haha. looks like your calipers could eat my rotors...
That's always the first thing I do when I buy a car. They always have the original filter installed. I believe that the majority of ordinary car owners don't even know that cars have fuel filters.Well I finally got a Cai!!
also did the transmission fluid swap, replaced the fuel filter and new spark plugs. Not very exciting i know. The transmission fluid was only slightly dirty, so not much difference. A bit smoother. Now the fuel filter was a big deal, at least to me. It was the original filter that was from the factory, and when I took it off and tipped it sideways, black fuel and sentiment poured out. Glad I got that crap out of my fuel system. As for the spark plugs I noticed it is alot smoother when revving.
Up next is a tune, throttle body (70mm) and plenum.
I did notice a slight difference with the cai, so hopefully with all this it will be a huge gain over stock.
I had a 2002 GT that I had dyno'd back in 2008 with only an off-road h-pipe and 2½" Flowmaster catback. Nothing else; no CAI, no tune, no larger TB or aftermarket plenum. And 105,000 miles. Also I plan to make my first dyno run this march on a mustang dyno. I'm pretty excited to see what I can put down.
I am really hoping to see 255 rwhp and 280rwtq with a
-93 octane "race tune"
-airaide cai
-professional products 70mm tb
-professional products plenum
