Not a huge fan of the xxr 531's. They just look off to me. I do like the rovos though.

The thing that throws me off on the xxrs is the universal lug nuts..

That car pulls off FR500's amazingly well. Keep them or go XXR 531 with the correct offsets. They look really weird if you get the offset like in that pic. rovos wheels are fugly imo.

This is with the correct offset, great looking wheels for the money!

Thanks! I do like the fr500's theyre a nice rim, I just want something not so common. Im sure you can agree with that..
I believe the proper offset is 20mm for our cars. There is a member on here with them...

Just ordered my first set of real rims!! Not the on the shelf kind.. hint hint...

BUT until I get them and have them on the car they will be TOP SECRET!

7qts of mobile one full synthetic oil
4qts of mobile one synthetic ATF (recommended by tremec)
8 NGK TR55 spark plugs, which I installed today
1 motorcraft oil filter
1 motorcraft fuel filter


In other BIG news.. I ordered a set of 4 tires to go on my new rims.. This is the first time in owning a car that I have 4 matching tires!

i went with nitto invos..

front: 275/35/18 for a 18x9 rim
rear: 295/35/18 for a 18x10.5 rim

Well I have a BIG update coming in the next 2 weeks as the parts arrive.... My wheels will be here next week sometime along with the tires (has anyone guessed the rims yet???). I have another update as well.. It will be a first for 94-04 Mustangs, which I think yall will like... But like everything it is TOP SECRET until I get it, put it on!!

We are getting close... parts are coming in every day. the rims should be here friday and I should have the rest of the pieces to the other mod friday as well for a saturday/sunday install..
I have the tires and lugs patiently waiting the rims!

Well its time to share what I have been hiding from yall. Last night I received my new rims, which happen to be one of the first sets of Rovos Durbans with offset made specifically for our cars. There is one other Mach out there with them as he was the tester for them. Can anyone say concave?
