That's actually not a bad idea. I was considering doing the same, but after I decided to get a new long block I figured I'd just change the k member out then.

Small update: Installed caster camber plates

Nothing to exciting for the Mach as of late. I did get a chance to install a set of SR caster camber plates. First off I was surprised by the quality of these pieces. Its odd that something as small as a proper alignment can change the appearance so drastically. Also hit a milestone of 42K!!

Thankyou! and no nothing new here. I have been concentrating on other things lately like work, college and slowly building up basic things in my apartment. Honestly I need a project to re spark my interest in this car but idk what!!

Small update:

Well fellas (and ladies), for once I have a semi significant update.. For the past month or so I havent been able to pay much attention to the mach. Being that me new work schedule is nights, 7pm-7am, I havent had much time to take care of it. So its been a little neglected and needs a serious bath.. now to the meat and potatos..

On my way home yesterday morning the clutch pedal was making a very stang crunching noise and I could also feel it in the pedal.. as I was leaving the base I couldnt get it into gear at all aside from 3rd.. so I pulled over and popped the hood and sure enough the clutch cable was toast.. Limped it to the repair shop. I know what yall are going to say, I would have fixed this myself but there was no way it was going to be able to make it back to the base to use the hobby shop.. Im not an expert on clutch cables, however the inside makings of my busted one tells me it isnt a ford oem piece. So I went ahead and ordered a ford oem clutch cable but due to the holidays it wont be back on the road till next friday (insert sad face).

BUTTTT.. lets move onto some good news shall we?

Santa came a little early for me in the form of car parts. Currently sitting in my apartment waiting on install is a borla catback, mac o/r x pipe, 02 extenders and hood struts. I also got nifty "Mach 1" embroidered floor mats that look top notch..

Hopefully next friday when my baby is out of the shop I can install of my new goodies..

I got the mmd bolt on ones...

Can't wait to get rid of these pypes mufflers. They make it sound like an old farm truck imo.

Big update: Say hello to Borla!

Well fellas (and ladies) today was the day that I finally got to install the most crucial part of any 4v's.. Borla Stinger catback!! Wohoo! Out of every exhaust I have ever installed (mac, slp, ARK) this was by far the best fitment.. then again, when you pay this much for a bolt on system there realy shouldn't be any problems. I had to wait till my car got out of the shop with a new OEM ford clutch cable before I was able to get it over to the base to use the hobby shop. From start to finish, including setting up and breaking down, it took me and my wife 1.5 hours to complete. Now for the pictures..

The old setup. Pypes m80's welded in to the stock catback

A hacksaw with a thick metal blade made quick work of it..

Mounted everything loosely to align it..

Then tightened it all down from the mid pipe back!

As for the sound; it sounds completely different from my old setup, it is much "cleaner" and refined sounding. We all know how 4v's sound with borlas and o/r x pipe, AMAZING!! Anywho, I will get a video when I clean her up and the weather permits.. Also heres a boring picture of the new OEM clutch cable.. when I went to drive the car for the first time with the new cable installed I couldn't believe how easy the clutch pedal was.. light as a feather!

Looks good man! Mine came with borlas on it when I bought it, love the sound. I imagine it's 5xs better on a 4v!

I dont think you could go wrong with borlas on mustangs period..
