I love it when the rear wheels are flush with the fender!

Checkitout.

Here's where I'm at:

Here is spaced out 1/2"

Love the look!
May have to roll the fender lip, we'll see.

Notice the spacer has the hub extension. Hubcentric - so you're wheels not riding on the studs only!

Studs look kinda stuby!

Pedal assembly showed up!

Here's the engine so far. It wants to run!
Had to get a shorter belt.

I have to mess with everything.
I didn't like how the NOS soloniods were all seperate, so I got a bunch of fittings,
hooked them up in a nice neat little cluster, and made a mounting bracket.

Nitrous inlet to all 3
dry shot, wet shot and purge
;D

LOL, I wish!

I'm in industrial equipment sales & installation.
I've been waiting for enough money to buy a blower for over 5 years.
Married, kids ect took priority.
Work has been a project in itself.
anyway I've had a good year in sales, so I have some extra money to put into the car.

Whatever I can't cover up front is going on the credit card.

I figured I could sell my GT and spend another 20K + on a cobra that I would upgrade eventually.
Or spend less than that on my 96.
I like my car, ordered it new in 96, and It's in great shape.
I also like haveing a unique car.
So, I decided to go for it.

It's taking a lot of time since I'm doing all I can myself.
It's interesting to see how everything goes together. :)

good choice on keeping the car instead of selling it for a cobra. I would do the same especially if i had bought it brand new.

I have a 79 f150 that my dad bought brand new and i will never sell that pickup. I would probably sell the stang first

Wife and kids are expensive!! but they're worth it!

I'd have to add it up, it is quite a bit ;D
engine, tranny, clutch conv, nitrous, and all the other bits.
On the other hand, my car's been payed for for 5 years!

BTW I'm doing a heel of a job?? I'll redouble my efforts! :D

J/K man :hammer:

I'm to that part of the project where it's kind of a drag, I wanna get it done, but put it off a little bit...

Re: STROKER ENGINE BUILD --update-- Longblock is Assembled

All I can say is "wow" .....

I skipped over about 7 pages ........ are the twins still coming? And is NOS therefore temporary?

Wicked build-up - things just kept getting better (especially with the hoist purchase) - lol.

I hope you have a driven a beast before because you really need to be careful. I've seen too many hurt the cars very soon after they are done.

Pretty cool how the dude that built it is giving you a warranty. You don't see that every day.

You may want to think about a cage ..... :)

Thanks man.
I haven't wired it up yet, gonna put it on a relay so I can switch it on at the track.
I have a bunch of wiring to do!!

Thanks Scott,
The twins are still coming, they're stage 2 of the build, since I ran out of money!!
Aside from not upgrading the axles, the car is totally ready for major boost.

The Nos is just to run between now and then.

When I do the turbo's, i'll do axles and probably a cage.

This combo should put down 500 on the juice,

then the TT combo i'm shooting for 800.
kind of a 2 step process, step up to the power level like you were talking about.
Gotta adjust to the powa. :)

I'm gonna work up in steps, not going 300 to 800, that would be crazy!
