I don't have much time today to work on this, so I figured I'd do something quick. I pulled the incorrect tail lights off and discovered that somebody tried to "make" their own export style tails.... :deeplist:

I bet! Do you have to buy a new dipstick now? I did! And how about that coolant line attached to the back of the head? And then the studs getting stuck... dude I know my sohc was a nightmare so I can only imagine a dohc... I should have told you this sooner but I forgot.. zip ties are your best friend. I zip tied the head bolts together to keep them up out of the way when removing the head.

How much do you think they weighed lol? I know at the time I thought mine were like 100lbs because of the horrible angle I was working at... and I'm no small dude haha

Yep... I ended up destroying the tube.

how about that coolant line attached to the back of the head?

That wasn't too bad for me. It's still fine.

And then the studs getting stuck...

The only issues I had really so far were getting the PS pump off and one of the AC compressor bolts. All the other studs/bolts came out without too much issue.

I should have told you this sooner but I forgot.. zip ties are your best friend. I zip tied the head bolts together to keep them up out of the way when removing the head.

I loosened up the engine mounts and put a jack under the motor and jacked it up a bit in each direction. I was able to get all of the bolts out on the passenger side by doing that. I got all but two out on the drivers side because of the hydo-boost unit being in the way. I tried putting tape around them first, but they were too oily and that didn't work at all. Then Shannon suggested zip ties.... worked like a charm.

How much do you think they weighed

I was curious so I weighed them. They're a little over 60 lbs each. :D

I went out there today to take off some more stuff and after I got the oil cooler off, I noticed something that didn't make me too happy....
