Holy crap. How was that car still on the road? That's amazing how stupid/lazy some people are. I'm glad it's in good hands now!

You really can't win with this car Charles. But many kudos to you for keeping at it man. Most people would probably have already scrapped the project and looked for another. Can't wait to see what else you find lol.... goodluck on that diff...

the 2 mufflers were rattling so they welded them together instead of propperly fitting the exhaust. pretty common on pickups as well

it all depends on your power levels, budget, and such.

A stroker kit will be used in this build (to be purchased soon) and I'm pretty much set on going with a centrifugal blower. 650 to 700 rwhp is the overall goal.
Budget... meh. This isn't an "economy" or "budget" build by any means. I'm a firm believer of doing things right the first time around and not cutting corners.

well, I'd suggest either:

a 03/04 cobra fuel tank (which is the pricey way to go) complete with a Fore Hat, at least dual pumps, all set up on a return style system.

if you want to go the cheep way (and also the "drag racer" way, so its "win-win" because it looks cool) - you can sump your current tank, go with an in-line pump (theres a A1000 for sale in our classifieds section right now) and run a return style system.

either way, at 500+ you're going to need to go return style.

:]

With a return style fuel system, I could delete the EVAP stuff, right?
