I found a nice little area at the warehouse to set up shop. Today, I completed bringing over all the parts from home. On Thursday, we'll be bringing the car over on a trailer. There's just so much more "leg room" over here than what I have in the garage at home. I'll be getting some kind of work bench set up shortly as well as some florescent lighting. The yellow plate in the photo is removable and there's a 4 foot pit under there. I'm going to cut the removable section to be a bit larger, and then I can use the pit to work on stuff under the car (for the time being until I get a lift) without the PITA of jacking it up/down constantly.

None... The guy that was supposed to help me get the car over to the warehouse with his trailer flaked out. Besides, it's about 30 degrees in the warehouse now and there's no way I can heat that place efficiently with how high the ceilings are. The white car is sitting at home in the garage and will probably stay there at least until next spring. "Life" happened this summer. I'm ashamed to admit that I only had the red car out 2 or 3 times the entire season as well. :deeplist:

Everything is still sitting at the warehouse in a million pieces. The indoor temp there is approx 15 degrees F and the ceiling height is > 30 ft... therefore nothing will be happening until spring because the cost to heat that place is too high, even for me and I can't function in those temps.

However, something I have been contemplating, or at least tossing around, is the possibility of selling off the cobra shell as a roller and still building the 4v as planned, BUT putting it in the 08 vic instead... interesting twist for this project, or no ???

How many people build a 4v and put it in a mustang? Lots.
How many people build a 4v and put it in a cop car? Not many.

Just finished doing an 03 cobra engine in a 04 marauder. Car is very fun to drive and rides awesome

How did it fit in the engine bay? Did you have to make any modifications? Exhaust? I'm worried about the brake booster.

If I went this route, it would be completely decked out. I have the brush guard for the front, all the lights, window bars, prisoner partition, center console... everything.

If your just doing a na 4v it should drop right in. I'm not sure if the brake booster is different in the crown vics or not. I had to notch and box the frame to clear the alternator for the cobra. I'm using kooks longtubes made for the marauder and clears everything fine.

Good. I'm pretty certain it's in the exact same spot.

I gotcha an upper marauder lid for a dohc C head intake. Or better known as a cobra lower marauder upper

Any advantages over the cobra intake? I bought this complete setup with 0 miles on it specifically for this project.
