Spent the day detailing a friend's 91 Hatch...was quite the job! The car had been wet sanded, but not buffed in certain area's, and also had many swirls and scratches from prior waxes. I took a couple pictures of the process...enjoy!

Thanks everyone! The detail was done at my b/f's shop, hence all the mustangs in the reflections and in the background. I wish I could have a section of the shop dedicated to my detailing...I love to do it, but it is so much nicer to have a controlled area where I can have my own lights not interrupted by sunlight!

D, next time I'm going down to visit my aunt I'm trailering the car down with me and you can have at it! These detailing threads are making me very jealous! :notworthy: Very nice work!

haha I'm up for it! I love back cars because the end result always comes out so glossy and wet looking! haha

I'm just saying, give credit where credit is due. I'm sure she did the best she could. From the before pics to the after pics, its a really good job none the less.

Its hard to polish a turd...car looks great considering the before condition.

I dont know if she could do any better without risking burning the clear.

Is that the factory paint?
