A clean stang with a dirty engine bay is not a clean stang...

Any suggestions to make my bay a little more "show-worthy"? Other than a blower haha

Looks pretty good! I just wash mine, but never really detail it. Sweet engine bay!

Sorry, I'm not big on getting my engine all decked out. Is there more billet you can get? How about a fuse box cover?

whatd you use to detail?
Sprayed it down with Ardex New Wave, which is a degreaser...and since I don't have a powerwasher at home, I just used some water and a sponge to scrub it down, then I rinsed it off and sprayed it with Ardex Details. Gives it a great shine.

car looks great jb, as far as some stuff to make the engine bay a little more show'y... maybe some nice caster camber plates, something that you would probably benefit from anyways, and replace some of the nasty bolts with nice polished stainless hardware. I painted my strut tower brace body color then picked up some stainless button head bolts (polished them up and it looked sweet).

canton fabricated overflow tanks look great on the 4.6's as well.

instead of using a Hose take your car to one of those Coin washes and use the power washer..... it will make the engine bay SUPER clean..... i wash my engine once a month with a power washer.

....split spokes look sexy when black :coolsmiley:

JB, as far as more in-depth show-worthy hardware, I would suggest some valvecover/intake manifold paint, perhaps even paint the FIPK. I think that would spice it up a bunch, in addition to what the others have said.

Looks awesome BTW. I love your car.

EDIT: Where did you get your chin spoiler? I'm thinking about one for my car.

Yea I probably will next time...I used to detail cars and I always used a power washer, it works a lot better.

I'm pretty happy with the wheels being black, buy they are too small...cool for beater wheels though.

How difficult is it to paint your alternator? I think it would clean up the bay if I painted it a nice silver, or black.

Also, definitely thinking about painting my FIPK silver or body color, and the same with my strut tower brace.

I love my chin spoiler, I just got my from Ford, but you can buy it from American Muscle for I think $99.99. Unless JB has something besides that.

Yea I got my chin spoiler from what was at the time Mustangtuning.com, but now American Muscle.

Mines really scraped up...I hit it on everything, my car is so low. I'm thinking about just trashing it and getting a diff bumper.

I agree on the Painted Intake and Valve Covers. I've always thought about trying it and seeing what it would look like.
