Well I got mostly everything connected. filled it up with oil. I had to run to Walmart to get the correct oil filter. I somehow grabbed a v6 oil filter. I attempted to start it with no luck. I disconnected the fuel line and no fuel was coming out. I can't hear the pump turn on either. Luckily I have a brand new walboro pump. It's just a pain in the ass to install. Gonna tackle that tomorrow.

If this new fuel pump doesn't work. I'll be sure to to that. I had bought this pump a long time ago. So might as well put it in. When i had the 2v in i was having problems with it. It would shut off after about a hour of driving. I'm sure it was the pump that was giving out. I've replaced the pump twice. Problem is I put in cheapo pumps.

Was trying to install the aluminum clutch quadrant last night and shit I didn't know a firewall cable adjuster was required. So waiting for that shit to come in.

Installed the firewall adjuster but now my clutch doesn't want to engage, I can't put it into first gear. I reused the old fork. Do y'all think that might be the problem?

did you adjust the pivot ball? (Did it need adjusting?)

is the cable stretched out?

have you had a friend push the clutch while you looked in the tranny?

:)

I didn't adjust the pivot ball. The cable might be stretched. I looked under while I pushed the pedal with my hand. It's definitely moving. I need to look closer though. I'm gonna get a new throw it bearing, pivot ball and fork.

Installed a new clutch cable from MM abd that solved my problems!! You can see the original cable had some kinks in it.

Is that the OEM-style MM clutch cable? Let me know how you like it. I'm tired of replacing the cheap threaded single-sleeved variants every few years.

It looks like it is. I ordered the SR kit from American Muscle that had the double hook quadrant, firewall adjuster, and throttle cable. Well literally within 2 days I snapped the cable and it was on a flatbed. I also replaced the firewall adjuster with a Steeda and quadrant as well. As for the cable I went with the same one Chris posted, the MM... Believe me spend the money on it and get a good cable. Those cheap ones are just that... CHEAP!

Good buy Chris I'm sure it's gonna keep you happy for awhile man

Yes it's OEM style cable made for MM. I have a UPR click style firewall adjuster, and UPR single hook aluminum quadrant
