I have tha Eibach Pro Kit and ever since it's been installed on my car I've been having a problem with my midpipe disconnecting from my cat-back. My car scrapes on speedbumps, and steep drive ways all the time..... I think this is tha reason it becomes disconnected, what do you guys think? Or maybe its tha cheap BBK offroad Xpipe, maybe I need to upgrade.

I have the Pro-Kits on mine. I still have the stock mid-pipe on. Mine never comes close to dragging the ground. I had to drive @ some pretty serious angles for when I ran my side exhaust though. I know longer have it, but I still drive like that! If I think my car will scrape, I don't even attempt it! I do still drag up by my motor, though.

I'm riding on a Maximum Motorsports coilover kit with hypercoils, dropped to about three inches of clearance at the cats.

My exhaust is a BBK catted midpipe attached to BBK longtubes. It must be built like a brick shithouse because its hit the ground plenty of times and its still in pretty good shape. How can your midpipe become disconnected unless its ripping out the bolts?

+1... wouldnt it have to rip the flanges? or the bolts?

i dono... lol... i suggest using easy lock-tight on the new bolts.. no red... just blue or green or whatever the lowest is.. lol.

I loosened all the fittings, pushed on the center of the x with a jack, and tightened everything back up. seems to fix most major hits, and my car is lowered about 2.5 inches or more. (aftermarket K member, coilovers). I can get over most speed bumps and driveways, if I am careful. sometimes it drags just a touch.

Loosen the mid pipe up and lift the middle all the way up, tighten the bolts and it should drop down and be tucked up as far up as possible.

I dont have any problems scraping with my l/t and mid pipe...

Ive got sportlines and im probably down 2-2.25 in the front, 2 in the back.
