Lol. Found a brand new cap I had stuck back so I just painted the bottom satin black. Matches the plug wires pretty good.

Got the distributor cap back on, plug wires on, coil and bracket on, and the power steering pump bolted to the bracket. Wasn't able to get the pulley pressed back on though. But that's pretty much all that's left, along with a belt and the heater hoses.

Prolly gonna go ahead and buy some fancy pants wire loom kit to keep the plug wires neat and out of the headers.

Also here's a pic of this spiffy lil fuel pressure gauge I got from Summit. Not bad for a summit brand.

Hopefully if I'm off next weekend we're gonna get back to work on the car itself.

And I knocked the dust and funk off the alternator with a scotch-brite pad just for you Garrett [emoji847]

My buddy's welder was jacked up this weekend so we didn't get to do anything with the Scott Rod panels unfortunately. But I hung out for a little bit today and finally got the power steering pulley and the heater hoses on. Checked the alignment on the pulleys and everything looks good.

Hoping this is gonna be my last week working outta town. If so then I'll be able to go work on the car some in the evenings after work. I'm ready to get it done.
