Damn this build is wild, has that been established yet? That front suspension is awesome, never heard of that before.

Thank you! The suspension is much better than stock, but still has limitations. Goal is to build a tube front end at some point.
More pics tonight, did some tig practice and got another tube done in the car

So you put spherical bushings in the IRS control arms? Are there any more of those available? I may want to go that route versus the FTBR bushings there.
Are you using just the Cortex spindles and the rest of the IFS from Griggs? That Cortex IFS kit is expensive last I looked.

Yep, I wanted to go the spherical bearing route but didn't want to immediately make tubular control arms. I contacted a few companies about making something like that and I was shocked when the replies I got were for around $150-$250 for each bearing so I decided to just make my own set. I don't have any more available right now, but once I get some testing done with them I may start making them to sell if there's any interest.
Yep, I have a cortex spindle and the rest is Griggs. Very expensive, I wish I would've just fabricated my own front suspension instead of buying everything, but at the time I didn't have the capability.

Finally getting settled from the move and am able to start making progress. Rented myself a little workshop in Mooresville, NC until I can find a house.

Haha you're good, there's a lot more adjustabilitywith these pedals and its lighter. I got rid of my factory pedals and hydroboost system because it weighs like 30 lbs. With these I have the ability to switch front and rear master cylinders separately and it has a balance bar to control front to rear brake bias. Also, it will work with the ford APP sensor for drive by wire systems.

Here's a couple of updates, finally getting settled in NC. Found myself a job with Stewart-Haas racing doing tear down and fabrication on the 00 Xfinity Car, so I've been pretty busy with that, but I have been working on the car a bit. Here's some pics to prove it...
Unfortunetely, I gave myself a bad cut yesterday while working on the car, so I'll be taking a break for a while...at least until I get the 11 staples in my leg removed

I was laying under the car cutting the floor of the trunk out with a 4 1/2" cutting wheel to make room for a fuel cell and it got pinched and I lost my grip on it lol. Really wasn't a good afternoon. Luckily the girlfriend was close by.

Thanks guys! All I can say is that I've been lucky up to this point with injuries and all I can do is learn a lesson and move on. I probably shouldn't of been grinding the way I was but shit happens. Luckily, it hasn't affected my work efficiency and I'm actually back working on the car today.
Thanks for for all the input! There's a lot left to do but a little bit of progress is always worth it. The pooch definitely has needed some time to figure out what's been going on with he move, but I think she's pretty happy. Looking forward to hopefully meeting some of you east coasters soon!
