gettin shocked

need a lil advice when car is ruuning and trying to move the dizzy for more better timing it will knock the piss out of you :whip2: looked at wires and cap and dont see any cracks or splits. any idea what else it could B?

I guess it could have been a crack or something in the bottom cap on the dizzy but it could be the wires still.

have you looked under the hood in the dark for any arching yet? bet you'll see a light show.
replace the cap, rotor, and wires.

change your wires and cap, it's one of the two.

You could also be experiencing "carbon tracking" on the inner or outer surface of the distributor cap. You have to look real closely to spot it. Replacement is the only fix even if you do spot it.
