and if he does ill get charged the amount + court costs

If i'm not mistaken you pay court costs anyway. If you take the tint off and go to court chances are the tint tickets will be dropped and you'll still have to pay court costs, but at least it's something.

This is how it's gone in Va for several of my friends. Either you appear in court and have a chance of getting it dropped, and if it doesn't.. You pay. Or you pay anyway.

And unless you want to keep paying remove the tint or go legal. The fact that you're in highschool with a mustang makes you a great target.

They're usually occupied with more important things, like idiots driving like maniacs (the ones almost running people off the road trying to act like "street racers").

^ya know why people hate car guys? The bad ones stand out. The asshats in civics goin 80 at 8 am through a school zone sounding like a weed whacker, bumper duct taped together who almost hits ur kid are the ones u remember.
Usually when ppl get any attention from cops, especially about bs laws such as 70% tint, it's not going to be a fun experience. When it happens enough u start to get the whole "cops are assholes" attitude
one of my neighbors is a cop he's cool as hell but I'm sure my thoughts on that would change pretty quick if he wrote me a ticket

Here in NY tint is a fix it ticket, if you remove the tint within 24 hours and get it signed off at a police station you don't have to pay a dime, only problem is you're out the money for tint then so it might just be worth paying it lol.

People hate cops until they need them. Its pretty f*cking simple, don't want a ticket? Don't do stupid sh*t. I haven't gotten tint yet because it just passed in Illinois. And if you do have tint, roll your windows down when you get pulled over, not to hide it, but so the officer feels more safe.

Oh yeah, I got pulled over again the other day. 41 in a 30. No ticket. Yeah, suck on these little Chinese nuts!

that cop cant give you a ticket if you ride around with your windows down all the time you are breaking no laws because they can see you i would fight it i fight all of mine and the cop never even shows up to court =-) and they always give me warnings i just throw them on the floor board and say see ya in court who are they to tell me how my car can look it does no damage to anyone else and the risk of hitting some one with sun glare coming in my window is far greater than if i cant see through my tint lol tint laws are stupid its just another way for them to pull you over with a reason. they realy hate me i have a 2006 chrysler 300 with 5% all the way around and nothing they can do i keep it liscensed in oklahoma where there are no tint laws

but with my windows down he can see me I'm not breaking any laws and when i want to park and make my car look good i can roll them up win win for both party's he can see everyone in the car and i get to keep my tint . you dont have to go to law school to know that im not breaking any laws if my windows are down im at 100% or is there a law against 100% ?

i just registered my car at my brother's house in the middle of nowhere, now i can get inspections done w/no emmissionss test...dumps, here i come!!!
