How hard is it to swap 99-04 GT seats into my '96?

Hi, I managed to tear my front driver seat today so I am looking around for some replacement seats. How hard is it to swap in the newer style '99-'04 seats? Can I use my factory brackets? Any info/advise and pics would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

pretty sure they fit, i have them resting in my car seats came out of a 2000 something gt,
il find out tomorrow if no body posts back

mine fit, now i just have to splice in a new power seat connector cause they dont match

Yeah they should fit right in. I just got new seats and the install is also very easy....With the exception of using a little blaster on the bolts under the car that is. But, in all it was really easy to do.
