I know it is hard, ive told my friend and engine builder about the procedure that many people said on here about running until high rpms and etc.. and they all told me i was crazy, engine builder told me to do the slow way like i posted before but I still trust you guys in the U.S. cause youve heard from real engine builders. Like come on U.S. engine builder VS bolivian builder, you cant compare. I still havent checked on the quality of the national oil, anyway its not like im going to use this one always, once i do the breakin ill go with shell always...

I never said anything about the oil proceedure being right or wrong by what his mechanic said. The only part of the quote that I deemed important was the part in bold, thats why I put it in bold the rest of the quote was just there b/c I did't erase it.
well.....ok, im sorry. guess i didnt notice the emboldement because i was viewing it on my phone waiting on a doctors apointment. ill get off my soap box now.

I just found this and glanced through it. show it to your friends, theres a photo of two diffrent pistons broken two diffrent ways, one driven hard, the other "softly broken in". like i said, i glanced over it so i dont know everything it says but i gathered it was right.

edit: it does conflict with what i was taught about break in oil. say use none synthetic, was taught it didnt matter. guess it cant hurt. it also says change your oil after 20 mile break in. I think thats a case of being ocd doesnt hurt.

It has all the standards you said before so i guess i could use it, again it would only be for the break-in. im going to buy some today.

Use it for the few times.. Cheap oil does not harm anything if you use it a few times.. I used the cheapest oil I could find at Walmart for my first 3 oil changes.. Then I switch to Mobil 1..

Rock on justi88!

rz5.0. If its up to API standards it wont hurt your engine. substandard oils are extremely rare to find in the US. I have seen a none API rated oil on this continent once ever in my life.
