hmm. good to know! This is actually happening on my drivers side window. Good to know I dont have to take it in for this! Now I just need to figure out why the auto locks arent working with the button inside.

when I press the unlock/lock button nothing happens. I think I read something about a fuse but Ill look into that some more. Neither the drivers side or passenger work.

thanks. Ill check it out but today the passenger unlock button did work so im starting to rule out the fuse issue.

you can put in 1/4" nuts. it actually works better cause they dont wear out and break down like the plastic rollers. thats what i did. :xmas-smiley-022:

ive heard about that, but nobody was able to prove it with pics,i will try that whenever i have to change them again :D

one of these days ill put the motor back out to take pics.

Wow i'm really glad I saw this thread It saved me a lot of money. I used the 1/4 nuts and it works perfectly! But the whole process was a little harder than I thought.

Thanks for the excellent write up!

Re: Window Problem 94-95 Only

So is it a 5/16 or 1/4 nut that fits in there instead of the plastic things?

It's summer, I don't have AC, and my passenger window won't roll down but I can hear the motor trying to work.
