Picked up H&R SS springs to replace my Bullitt Springs that have been in place for a number of years now to lower a bit more and correct the leveling of the stang. Any of you guys do a similair swap and any tips for installation? Shortcuts?

Same as any other spring replacement except you will be able to get the old springs out a little easier since they will be lower overall height then OEM ones

Dont know if you did the iso's and shocks/struts when the last springs were put in, if not consider doing those at the same time

I actually went back in and removed the ISOs to get more of a drop and plan to put them back in, but it's been a while. Just too harsh over large bumps and/or potholes. OK, was hoping it might be easier since the springs were shorter that it would be easier. I remember needing to borrow my friends jack since his was able to get the stang high enough to allow for the spring to be taken out and mine wasn't.

Rubber ISOs help in softening things slightly but I don't think they effect anything you can feel when driving. I believe it all has to do with rear springs rate/manufacturer and rear shocks rebounding properly. I'm far from qualified to state as fact but just reciting what I've read. Good Luck! It's gonna look awesome still.

I was able to directly compare full ISOs with no ISOs in the front and found that with the specific rate Bullitts combined with the matching Tokicos it went from stiff/composed to still/crashing on potholes especially and definately transmits a kit more noise over those large bumps and potholes, of which there is quite of bit around here. So if the drop is good with the H&Rs, I'd rather go with them in.
