I was bored at work today and thought I might start my own thread and keep updating the build as I go along.
Details on the car; It's a 1995 Mustang GT vert in DFG. Bought the car off my cousin who's brother sold it to him about 6 years ago. The car ran like poop when I got it, and as soon as I did a tune up it came back to life, at the time it was mostly stock with the exception of 17" cobra wheels, a "custom" x-pipe that had all kinds of different sized tubing, flowmasters, CAI, and a stage 2 or 3 comp cam which I later realized was the source of a lot of problems. I've learned so much about mustangs and cars in general because of this stang, and a lot of them have been lessons learned the hard way. It's been a love hate relationship since the day I got it and for that reason I don't ever plan on selling it no matter what family members or friends say that I should justH cut my losses and look into something else. It's been a total transformation since the day i got that pink slip handed over, my interior went from tan to black with 00 GT charcoal leather seats, tan to black top, and 17" cobras to 18" Saleens.

Hope to hit 450rwhp with stock fuel components, would love to see 500. I'm going to start with the stock pulley first though

If only you could run with no valve covers. That's so freakin sexy.

I should've been more clear, stock rails is what I meant. I already have a high flow 255lph in tank plus the Procharger 190 in line, which I probably won't run since I've read that it might be restrictive to the in tank pump. Plus I have 60# injectors with matching MAF. I would like to buy a fuel rail kit but I can't spend another $600 plus feed and return lines with fittings to the firewall right now. I hope I don't run out of fuel on the dyno, I've looked up the sumped tank and dual pumps and that stuff is pricey. I guess it goes like the saying "you gotta pay to play"

That would be sweet, how about some plexiglass covers?

Re: Ivan12's 1995 GT

I took some updated shots this morning, my brother hooked me up and started sanding down parts of the engine bay so they can be filled in tomorrow.

No need to sump the tank at all, you should be fine with 60lbers and the rails are good up to 600s (cant remember)
you'd probably split the block before you run out of fuel.

Went from this

To this

I have a couple of spots where the paint ran a bit but I hope I can just sand and repaint the areas. I was able to shoot everything with 2 spray cans but bought 3 just in case.

It's DFG, it's probably the way the light is hitting it

you rattle canned that? if so that looks awesome for a spray bomb! good job

I went to a local auto paint place and they took a pint of DFG and made it into 3 cans with the clear mixed in. It looks really good in person, I'm glad I took the time and effort with the prepping.

Re: Ivan12's 1995 GT

I don't own a pilot bearing puller so I went to Autozone and rented the very expensive tool. Had the engine on the engine hoist and decided to go at it. Well I don't know if this is very common or not but the pilot bearing decided to come out in 2 pieces. The puller only got the inside bushing with the needle bearings and left the outer housing in the crank. Had to chisel and grind it for almost an hour until I was able to break and remove it.

Pic of the carnage

Once the pilot bearing and clutch were installed engine went it without a hitch
