to be honest im not sure what the lower support is going to be made of, id imagine chromoly stands a good chance of being the choice.

well Matt i do plan on putting a single day temp tag on it when its done and go mess around on my old 95 Cobras Cobra R rims 17 10.5s with DRs on em. That should make for some fun videos.

Did you get the cage cert'd yet? I don't want to be a naysayer, but I think there has to be an X on the rear downbars, or in addition to the rear downbars to pass the 25.5 spec. I just recall seeing many more rearward bars on other 25.5 cars.

Well we got the book from the NHRA and had it done to a T. If it runs out there needs to be something added its no biggie, and no i havent gotten it cert'ed yet

Well alright then! Haha. Gives me hope, my car doesn't have a rear X and I thought it was going to be an issue. Good to know.

xploder im confused what you mean by the chassis? the cage or the car itself?

thanks chris thats the first time ive seen it on the car cant wait to have the rest of the front end put back together again o get a real look at it.

Hellion, yeh have you seen those NHRA cage books? there ridiculous there all color illustrated and what not. Yeh i sincerely doubt we missed anything thats the truth but well find out soon enough i guess.

Things are starting to look very interesting. Once I get my rear suspension buttoned up, mine is going in for the cage as well. Our builds are so similar, yet so different at the same time..... lol
