that intake turned out killer!!! wow... did you just rattle-can it?
Thanks man! Yea I just rattle canned it. I've had really good luck with spray painting all of my parts in the past!that intake turned out killer!!! wow... did you just rattle-can it?
Yes but it needs to be whored, to many people on here with very nice cars never ever post pics of them.Lol I guess that's a good thing???
Here's another pic from today at the track. I sure am whoring this car out lol
Hmmm I already forgot that I planned to tuck the wires... I guess I'll have to do that this winter. The car looks badass and that intake turned out great. Too bad that once everything is assembled you cant really see how good it looks. By the way you said you were going to do a wire tuck, that would be a great idea for this winter and then I can copy you, lol.
Guess I'll bump this thread. The car hasn't changed a bit since October. The JLT is off and sold, that's about it. My friend with the Vortech is getting close to selling it, so that should be going on in the next month or so. I'd like to pull the heads off and have them gone through, and install some good blower cams before the Vortech goes on. We'll see what happens... I'm getting bored with the car in its current state. Here's a pic of the car anyways.![]()
The best advice I can give you is to go over to autogeek.net and read up on the correct ways to detail a car. I would definitely go out and buy a Porter Cable 7424 polisher before trying anything. You really can't mess your paint up with it. Read up on the correct procedures and start out on something you don't care about. You will be amazed at the difference you can make with the correct skills and a little time. $200 for the Porter Cable, pads, and good selection of polishes and waxes will make a TON of difference on your car. My car has the original paint with 132,000 miles, and it came out pretty good.question im really good at mechanics and fabricating my own stuff . But have not a clue about detailing I have a 99 green stang kinda obvious lol . Looks really good if I wash with Meguiars wash and wax then go over it and dry it then hit it with quick wax . How can I umm I guess liven the color up like you have on yours with the deep shine to it . Can you please reply with detailed steps dont want to ruin my paint lol kinda what I am afraid of .. Thanks Awesome car I really dont like the old body style but this makes me want one !
