MAC Pro Dump Review

Had my 2.5" MAC Pro Dumps installed this morning. They are a lot louder than stock. Have a nice deep agressive tone, and has drone at about 1200-1500 rpms, not bad at all though. I left my stock catted midpipe and manifolds so the only modification is the pro dumps. These things sound absolutely amazing, I couldn't wipe the smirk off my face while driving it home. If anyones looking a nice deep muscle sound w/o touching the midpipe I reccommend the MAC Pro Dumps. I'll try and get a video up soon if it stops raining.

On my old '91 coupe, which had solid roller 347 with Victor Jr heads and intake, Kooks 1 3/4" Long tubes, MAC mid pipes and Pro Dumps all 3". Loved it!! Loud was an understatement for that setup. Glad you like your new exhaust, enjoy!

I have mac dumps on the 96. T-trim, cammed and dumped is incredibly loud. However, im contemplating to have tail pipes reinstalled.

i have mac long tubes, mac o/r h pipe, and the mac cat back. everyone loves it. it is just loud enough when cruising and not to overly loud at wot.

You should hear em with a MAC Prochamber H Pipe. Had them on my old 94 and it sounded awesome. I've been sold on Prochambers ever since.

I have mac catless h pipe and mac catback, sounds friggin awesome, I know its a completely different sound (different engines) but mac always makes good sounding stuff.

@chris- They sound so sick with a prochamber, I'd enjoy the loudness but unfortunately the cops won't lol. These things are pretty loud considering everything else is stock.
@cpotts- I've heard some new edges with that setup and If i had one I'd definately get MAC.
Car actually has a little more grunt off the line surprisingly

Cops really that bad in NY? Ive NEVER had a cop bug me with any of the 6 Mustangs Ive owned and a couple of them were pretty damn loud.

Yeah they are unfortunately. I get my license in a few weeks so hopefully I wont get pulled over. They can get me for the tint, 90 bucks a window= $450 just for tint tickets, idk about my exhaust. Some people I know said that the cops can ticket me for the headlight covers een though I can take them off. I shouldn't have a problem though. You guys are lucky to have cops that don't care about loud exhaust or tint lol
