My 1998 GT

Hey guys. I haven't been around lately... but some of you may remember me by this car:

My 1994 3.8L 5-Speed Mustang

Well She's long gone, traded her in on a P.O.S. 2001 Dodge Ram that drank oil and gas like it was it's job. So I fixed up the truck a little and sold it locally then purchased my new ride:

My 1998 Ford Mustang GT

picked her up for $4800. Haven't changed much. bought her pre-modified. For me It was a steal. Already has 3.73's, wheels, cobra brake kit, stainless steel brake lines, eibach springs, steeda short throw shifter, etc etc.

Only problem I've had is the turn signal fuse keeps blowing. We've traced the problem to the reverse switch in the transmission. must be shorted out.

I'll update with Mods I've done later. :wave:

Lol thank you guys for the feedback. personally I HATE the stipes... to cliche. I think if they were a light gray... something subtle it would look 100x better. but black and white is toooo much.

So I'm repainting the whole car before the end of the year. suggestions on color? I'm going to put a poll later.

I say stick with white, or do like a pearl white so that engine bay and door jams do not look to mismatch from being a different color, or heck just repaint the whole car a different color if its done right.

That's the plan. Repaint door jams... trunk lid ... hood. All of it. My Dad and I can do all the work.

That purple car in my first post, was originally black, the paint was really fadded and began chipping so my father and I repainted the car... then when we did the clear... he threw in and old can of red/blue pearl mixed together... So I ended up with a purple car.

Yes they are 18's. I think they are the perfect size to fill the wheel well's.

Looks great! My cousin had about a 97 Ram. He painted to red, with a blue pearl over it. You looked @ it 1 way, all red. Walked about 5 ft, all blue! That was a sweet looking paint job!

Are you wanting to stay white, or switch to a new color? I vote for black. I love black!

Thank you for the postitive comments. The paint chioices I'm looking at right now are:
Laser Red
Metallic Yellow
BAB
Black
Mystic

Also... I'm working on some DIY mods I'll post up here when I'm done.
