how much insurance money will you get?

thats what i'm interested to see. I'd push the limit on money, full medical bills for your sister, full price of the car, in great condition, and any other things caused by it. Dumb brawd.

Did you get cited by the police? The person making the left is almost always at fault.

Don't bother. The person making the left will pretty much get cited by default. Unless you can prove that you had completed the turn prior to getting hit (which you really can't) all your efforts and wasted court time will likely be in vain.

so you were making a left and she came from your right? over a blind hill?

sorry man, but even tho it's not fair and it's a blind hill and you couldn't have avoided it even if you waited for a year, it sounds like a typical insurance screw over for you. I really hope not tho,

somehow it got turned into my fault for my sister running into the side of me cause i didn't wait long enough....

ironic thing is i did wait just to make sure knowing it is a blind hill. if i would of been a dick like i am around normal turns and just went seeing the coast is clear i would have been fine, instead i try to play it safe cause its a blind and almost come to a stop.

yep, laws of GA screwed me over on this one. lawyer said if i was in a state like New York or somthing where left turn person wasnt automaticly at fault i would be fine. this sucks :nonono: .

were both alive and well though so thats the most important thing. :)

sorry to hear your lawyer just shot you down :/

atleast you're all still okay, and you'll have a shitload of money coming in soon :happydrunks: buy your car back and take the engine/tranny/rearend out and put them in an old mustang :) that's what i was going to do cause i thought mine was totalled, then i was like $4 below the total amount (LOL) so i got it rebuildededed.

nothing can replace the car tho, it becomes a part of you... not trying to be emotional or anything, but it does.

i feel you dude, i agree, it realy does become part of you, only thing is my insurance was minimum so only medical bills are covered so no money for me, and i had to sighn it over to the salvagers cause my family doesnt have the money to take it back. I took the shift knob and its goona go in my next sn95, whhether i get one soon or way down in the future. prepare for project resurrection, lol.

Your right though, it does become part of you. I see the Sn95 as the only car i realy belong and i feel intsantley good about everything despite all the other great sports cars ive driven.

dont get me wrong, i love other cars and may be getting a 240sx soon (alot cheaper) but its just a completley diffrent feeling. lol

Over at crownvic.net we have a saying that always comes out after something like this, provided everyone made it out ok:

"That'll buff right out!"

That's a hell of a hit, glad the two of you are ok- good to know that although our cars are small, we have protection to be able to walk away from something like that

blue tooth FTW

its not the fact that you have something in your hand that distracts you from driving, its trying to carry on a conversation and not devoting your mind 100% to driving.

but sorry to hear about the accident. glad you all made it out ok cause it looks pretty bad

Do you know if they took measurements at the scene?....If they did, they'd be able to tell how fast miss speedy was going and you'd have a hell of an arguement...I'd talk to a supertrooper. They might also be able to judge speed from the amount of damage on the vehicle. It's amazing how well some of those guys can re-construct an accident. Just a thought. Good to know you're okay. I also think it should be a friggin criminal charge if you could prove the person was on a cell phone. Just my thoughts though. Good luck man.
