Well, its a crappy day, I rear end someone(paint taken off front bumper and hood cracked, thats it) and my friend totally SMASHED his 2007 V6 stang. Here is what is left, hit a tree...

Even after the windshield fell on him, he just has a scrape on his forehead. He is really pissed, his parents more because he still owed money on it.

Lol Yea, I am literally ready to kill myself, I loved my car. Good parts, I hope the woman doesnt report it, it was a canyon and I made like 1 little scuff on the plastic bumper thing. Im using this as an excuse to get my new cobra r hood and bumper. It will HOPEFULLY be done before the end of winter . My dad said Im overreacting, as i just bust the driver side headlight, scraped my paint on the bumper, and cracked the hood...

Lol. I understand exactly what you mean. I HAD to replace my cracked hood and the stock bumper that was on it because it was too flimsy and the paint was peeling off.

We sorta have the same plans for our cars. Your's is in a little better shape, and I'm like half a step ahead in mods.

Yea, but you've prolly had your car longer. I didn't start out with my Mustang. I just got it last April. Of course, the big mods were already done... but that doesnt change anything. Haha... Oh well, in a few years, you'll be ahead of me, so don't worry about it.

Holy crap, I just realized the airbags didnt go off.


What good are they if they don't deploy unless you're in a minor fender bender!?

He was actually shocked by the lack of airbags. Anyways he was going 55kph in a 50 zone, hit a patch of ice, did a 360 and smacked the tree. He is looking for another S197 of the same year now. I found something on 50resto.com for me, a cobra appearance kit . Im trying to make the best of my little eff up too .

Well if you look at the car it didn't really have any impact in the front, i'm guessing that's the reason for the lack of airbags. In that situation the airbags could have done more harm than good.

Good luck on that. I "tapped" some goofy OnStar equipped minivan a year ago and it cost me over a grand.

+1 except suburban or tahoe or something...

tell your dad that crack will spread...trust me. mine went from 1/2 inch to through the hood and it wouldnt latch. so i ran without a hood for a while
