So, what the hell is White95 doing NOW? :evil: Those who have followed my build thread know that my car sometimes sits for months, if not years at a time. A lot of the times is because of life getting in the way but at times its waiting for a tune. In fact, I've never had the car tuned since I had the Pro Comps ported and installed the TFS-R intake. That has been nerely two years. Now that I'm upgrading the complete HCI, I've decided to rip out the factory engine management system in favor of a Holley HP EFI system, PART# 550-604, but why? The Holley setup is much newer technology, nearly plug-n-play, user friendly with modest tuning knowledge, 'self-learns' itself for the start-up and drive ability tune. The software does allow for fine tuning on the dyno. It interfaces with their own 7" LCD display that i'll couple with a custom gauge cluster from Steinmann Performance. Well, eventually. This thread will be fluid and any questions will be answered. (Look mcglsr2 , colorful hyperlinks!)

The kit that have came with an over the manifold, universal Bosch style injector harness. However, after reading this thread, I realized this harness needed some work to properly work with the SEFI Ford setup.

The stock style distributor and remote TFI module [lower left, in front of the strut tower] will be removed and replaced with this "fox style", TFI mounted distributor. This particular part came from a local guy, Stuart, who has a NASTY solid roller, 410w/AFR220/Super Victor 600 rwhp SN95 that's controlled by the same Holley HP setup I'm installing. In fact, he has been a wealth of information and we'll see pics of his GT later.

So this is going to replace the ecu entirely? Is there a reason why? Better tune-ability?

With additional parts, I will be able to ditch the distributor/TFI altogether and run a legit DIS (distributorless ignition system) to be completely awesome.
